Jesus was led of the Spirit into
the wilderness
to be tempted of
the devil and he fasted forty days. He afterward hungered.
And the devil
said to him, If thou be the Son of God, command that stone be made bread.
He answered, It
is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth
out of the mouth of God.
In the mouth of
two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
