And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion many. And besought him that he would not send them out. And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain; And the devils besought him, saying, Suffer us to enter into them. And he suffered them. And they went out and entered into the swine and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and were choked. And they that fed them fled and went and told it in the city, and in the country. And they that saw it told them what befell to that was possessed of the devils. And the whole went out to see what was done and they saw him sitting, clothed, and also in his right mind and they were afraid. And they came to Jesus and they besought him to depart out of their coasts. And he went into the ship and the man besought him that he might be with him. But Jesus saith unto him, Go to thy home and shew them how great things God hath done. And he departed and published how great things Jesus had done.
