033
While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying, Thy
daughter is dead. Trouble thou the master any? Jesus heard. He saith, Fear not;
only
believe. And when he came into the house of the ruler, he said unto them that
wept and wailed, Weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed
him to scorn.
He put them all out and he
suffered no man but the
father and the mother of the maiden, save Peter, and James and John. And he took her by the hand, and said, Damsel, arise. And the maid
straightway arose. And they were astonished. And he charged them that no man
should know, and commanded, Give her to eat.
