And he departed thence and was come into his own country. And when he began to teach in the synagogue, they were astonished and were offended at him, many saying, Is not this the son of Joseph, the carpenter? Are not his mother, Mary, and brethren, James and Joses and Simon and Judas, and his sisters, Martha and Mary called Magdalene, with us? Whence hath this man these things, this wisdom and mighty works? Jesus said unto them, Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and in his own house because of their unbelief.
