And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men knew him, they that were sick in that region round about besought him that they might touch but the border of his garment: and as many as touched were made whole. And when Jesus had ended, the people were astonished at his sayings. Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they now with me three days, and have nothing to eat. I send them away fasting, and they will faint by the way. And his disciples say unto him, Whence bread in the wilderness? And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
