And Jesus said unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, father, mother and son or daughter, and take up his cross and follow me. And whosoever hate not them and his cross after me, he not loveth me.

Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
