And a certain said unto him, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus saith unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And another said, Lord, suffer unto me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto him, Follow me. Let the dead bury their dead. Then Peter said unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or father, or mother, or brethren, or sisters, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake but shall receive an hundredfold in this time, and everlasting life in the world to come that ye sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
