He took the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death and shall deliver him to the Gentiles, and they shall mock, scourge, spit on and crucify him, and the third day he shall rise again. Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. But he turned and say, Peter, get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but that be of men. And Jesus went before in the way going up to Jerusalem.
