And they brought little children unto him, that he should touch them, and his disciples rebuked them. And Jesus called a child unto him, and he took him up in his arms. But Jesus said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall not enter therein. And Whosoever shall receive one such child in my name receiveth me, and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me. Whosoever shall give a cup of water to drink in name, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. Whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were cast into the sea. Offences come; but woe unto whom that it come by. And he set him in the midst of them, and laid his hands on them, and blessed.
