Woe unto you for ye hindered them that were entering in and ye yourselves not enter in. Woe unto you Pharisees, for ye tithe mint and not judgment. These ought ye to have done, and to leave the other undone. Ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but full within. Woe unto you. Ye build the sepulchres of the prophets. Ye witness that ye killed them. Verily I say unto you, I shall therefore send prophets and some of them you shall persecute and kill that all of the blood shed between the temple and the altar, and from the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, may persecute this generation.
