Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, Ye have heard his blasphemy: what think ye? And they said, What need we any further witnesses? Guilty of death. And they spit on his face, and struck him, and buffeted him, and blindfolded him and smote him with the palms of their hands, saying, Prophesy, thou Jesus, who is that smote thee?
