Comment:
Contemplation of item 1 of the additional information leads to the conclusion
that the Sanhedrin was the equivalent of a State Supreme Court in the US.
Joseph of Arimathaea was therefore the
equivalent of a State Supreme Court Judge. His high status was probably the
reason that he was able to successfully beg the body of Jesus from Pilate.
Contemplation of item 4 leads to the conclusion that Jesus-Holy Ghost was not
arrested by the Sanhedrin, it not having the power to arrest. Contemplation of
items 2 and 3 leads to the conclusion that Jesus-Holy Ghost was not judged by
the Sanhedrin, it not meeting on the eves of festivals or during festivals.
Further contemplation of items 2 and 3 leads to the further conclusion that
Jesus-Holy Ghost was not judged by the Sanhedrin for the additional reason that
Jesus-Holy Ghost was taken to the palace of the high priest, not to the meeting
place of the Sanhedrin which was the Chamber of Hewn Stones in the Temple
complex.
