Comment:
In the context of paragraph 042-d, the phrase "house of
God" meant the
Tabernacle which is
mentioned at 1.b.2] above. In other contexts (notably in paragraph
087-f), the single word "house" was used to mean the
later form of the Tabernacle, the Temple. In paragraph 030-b,
the word "house" was used in a comparison of similarity with the word "man" and
therefore meant a person. A person is therefore similar to the Temple or the
Tabernacle. See also the glossary entry for the word "desolation",
and then the commentary for that word.
