General acknowledgements
for the fifth edition of This Good Riddle:
1. For text:
Acknowledgement of each source of text is made on the
page where the text is presented.
2. For images:
Acknowledgement of each image used in this document is made on
the page where the image appears.
3. For enablement:
a. The Most High
God (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) for
enablement in all phases of this project which He conceived, has participated in
along with His servants and will complete by means of His servants and also ultimately by He Himself in the person of Jesus.
b. Many other helpful people (who shall apparently remain unnamed until
Judgment Day) for providing all of the supplies, equipment and facilities used in the
preparation and the presentation of this document.
4. For Bible text:
a. The names of the persons who provided a public domain copy of the text of the King James
Version of the Christian Bible (for free use in this document) have been lost. All attempts to discover their names have failed. Their names are
therefore now known of a certainty only by the Most High God and perhaps also known
by some
of His angels.
b. The text of the
Book of Mormon was provided by
http://www.simtel.net/product.php%5bid%5d14922%5bcid%5d194%5bSiteID%5dsimtel.net
5. For Bible study aids:
a. A. E. Knoch
(www.concordant.org/index.html) for his
printed work, The Concordant Greek Text, which was used to find
(for elimination) those portions of the text of the
KJV which were shown to be
spurious by his comparison of the three main manuscripts which are (for the
purposes of this document) the
Alexandrinus, the Sinaiticus, and the Vaticanus.
b. Clarence Larkin
(
http://www.ebccnet.com/lcharts/ ) for many of Larkin's charts.
Although defects in them have been revealed by the elimination of the spurious
portions (mentioned above) of the KJV, Larkin nevertheless deserves specific mention
because Larkin was the first who was enabled to discern that there are indeed at
least eight figurative "days".
c. James Strong
(
www.thomasnelson.com/consumer/dept.asp?dept_id=11415&TopLevel_id=140000 )for
his original manually compiled version of his Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible.
Although
some errors were found and eliminated when his work was repeated by a computer,
his original concordance was immensely useful, and became the de facto standard by
which all others were measured. The version which was revised by a computer is
nevertheless recommended instead of his original concordance because of the
slight increase in accuracy.
Specific acknowledgments
for the fifth
edition of This Good Riddle:
1. For Bible search software:
a. Ivan Jurik
(http://www.theophilos.sk),
et al, for the free Bible search program, "Theophilos", which
was one of the programs which were used to find the verses in the different books of the
KJV written by different authors which nevertheless
contained the same or equivalent words because of the inspiration given to them
in accordance with the plan of the Most High God as stated in the testimony
which reads (in part), "Every word be
established in the mouth of two or three witnesses."
b. Rick Meyers
(
www.e-sword.net/downloads.html ) for the free Bible search program, "e-Sword",
which was also used in the same manner as "Theophilos" (mentioned above), except
that "e-Sword" displays a number with each word, the number being that
which was assigned to it by James Strong (mentioned further above). In addition
to displaying the associated Strong's number, "e-Sword" also displays the
definition for the associated number. That is to say, "e-Sword" functions
as an electronic copy of Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible.
c. Timothy Morton

http://www.bibleanalyzer.com/download.htm ) for the free Bible
search and compare program, "Bible Analyzer", which was
used to compare groups of verses from different books of the Old
Testament with each other.

Notes about these General and Specific Acknowledgements:
1] Mention of a person or an organization in these General and/or Specific
Acknowledgements does not imply that the person or organization is without
error, except for the Most High God.
2]
Mention of a person or an organization in these General and/or Specific
Acknowledgements does not imply that the person or organization is aware of or
endorses this document, either in part or in its entirety, except for the Most
High God, Who is aware of everything and
Who endorses His words. So, to the extent that this document (or any part of it)
presents His words to view, it logically follows that He endorses them.
Onward:
These general and special acknowledgements having been made insofar as is now
possible, onward to the
introduction.
